Excellent zoom camera with 27X optical zoom and 10X digital zoom. The ALC-Z27 offers great images in various illumination. The RS-485 Pelco-D protocol allows it to be control from most joysticks and DVRs. Zooming in and out can be accomplished by connecting data line to the RS-485 interface on the back on the unit or by manually pressing the "T" and "W" keys (Tele and Wide). The ALC-Z27 also offers OSD (on screen display) menu which allows you to set the many operating conditions of the camera.
