The ALD-1610D features the latest technology for recording and transmission. The ALD-1610D DVR records and will play back your information on JPEG2000 format and will transmit on advanced H.264 for the fastest transmission speed and clarity available in today's market.

These Rack Mountable 16 channel DVR's come equipped with motion detection, internet accessibility, PTZ control, real-time display, audio recording and more. The Alcatraz ALD-1610D DVR's come with a DVD-RW drive built-in that will easily allow you to create backup video of any event, and allow you to play this backup disk on any standard PC with no proprietary software required. A DVD disc has roughly six times the capacity that a regular CD does, allowing you to store more footage on a single disc. Also, the Alcatraz 16 channel ALD-1610D DVR has an additional USB port for information backup. The Alcatraz ALD-1610D series has a VGA output that allows you to use any standard computer monitor to view your system. The Alcatraz ALD-1610D series also allows you to record audio* for all of your cameras, which is a premium feature on a digital video recorder. This 8 channel DVR features triplex operation, which allows you to do 3 things at once (view live video, burn a DVD, view via the internet).
