The Covisec Alcatraz ALD-1620 H.264 16 channel DVR is the latest technology on the line-up. It combines features that are normally only found on high grade PC based machines such as off-site recording, a NTP server and a Point of Sale interface. This DVR also utilizes full D1 recording so you can play and record simultaneously at 480 frames per second for the best possible footage. The ALD-1620 has capacity for up to 8 terabytes of storage. The ALD-1620 DVR offers you flexibility such as conversion to HDMI, 16 channels of audio recording and mobile phone access.
To make it even better, the ALD-1620 is one of the few DVRs in the market which is PC and MAC compatible. Furthermore, you may few up to 4 cameras at the time when using the free Iphone viewer. The off-site recording function provides protection from losing your evidence in case of a break-in or unauthorized access to your system. Simply set your machine to send the recorded footage to a remote computer (at home or elsewhere) for peace of mind.
