For the longest time we have struggled to provide our customers with a viable replacement to their aging Samsung equipment. Many of our customers have purchased their Samsung equipment 5-10 years ago and would not want to re-run their wires or throw away their cameras. At last the search is over! We have developed the ALD-810R which is even better than the newest DVR from Samsung (SMT-190DN).
The ALD-810R allows the user to connect RJ-11e (phone type) or BNC cameras. What's even better is that you may mix and match both standards simultaneously and get the most out of your old Samsung system while integrating higher quality BNC cameras to your system.
Unlike the Samsung SMT-190DN, our DVR does not have a limit on how much hard drive you can install, the ALD-810R can receive signal from RJ-11e AND BNC cameras, it includes a DVD burner AND a USB back up port, it allows you to use a VGA AND a standard BNC monitor, it uses much superior JPEG2000 compression (SMT-190DN uses much inferior MJPEG compression). To cap the list, the Alcatraz ALD-810R also uses the newest H.264 compression for network transmission giving you as close to real time as possible over the net.
Featuring the latest technology for recording and transmission, the ALD-810R DVR records and will play back your information on JPEG2000 format and will transmit on H.264 for the fastest tranmission speed and clarity available on todays market.
The ALD-810R is a rack mountable 8 channel DVR that comes equipped with motion detection, internet accessibility, PTZ control, real-time display, audio recording and more. The Alcatraz ALD-810R DVR's come with a DVD-RW (DVD Burner) drive built-in to easily allow you to create backup video of any event, and allow you to play this backup disk on any standard PC with no proprietary software required. A DVD disc has roughly six times the capacity that a regular CD does, allowing you to store more footage on a single disc. Also, the Alcatraz ALD-810R has an additional USB port for information backup.
The Alcatraz line of Digital Video Recorders feature VGA output standard that allows you to use any standard computer monitor to view your system. The Alcatraz ALD-810R also allows you to record audio* on 4 of your cameras, which is a premium feature on a digital video recorder. This 8 channel DVR features triplex operation, which allows you to do 3 things at once (view live video, remote access via the internet, and record).
