The IR40 is an indoor, infra-red illuminator. Using this product, you can easily turn any standard camera into a night vision camera. The IR illuminators work in the same fashion that a standard night vision cameras illuminators do, flickering on when the light falls below a certain level creating just enough light for the camera to produce a picture. This illuminator is photocell activated, so it will only be active when you need it to be.
