SUMMARY
The SCC-643N Smart Dome Camera has many of the same features as
the low light SCC-641N Smart Dome but also includes day/night circuitry and 8
privacy zones. The SCC-641N and SCC-643N are part of the IC Series (Intelligent
Camera) of intelligent, remotely controllable cameras. A number of advanced
features and architecturally pleasing housings make these dome systems the new
choice for systems integration. One important differentiation with the Samsung
Smart Domes is the ability to program not only position and focus on presets,
but also the actual video settings for the camera. This enables iris control,
shutter speed, negative imaging and all other video controls to be unique for
each preset. This feature extends the boundaries of the SCC Series into many
other applications (traffic, marine, severe lighting, etc.).
With 480 lines of resolution and a minimum scene illumination of
.02 Lux in color and .005 Lux in monochrome, the SCC-643N is a truly versatile
solution. Superior white balance circuitry and excellent back light compensation
produce high resolution, crisp and clear images. Remote control and programming
is accomplished via an RS-485 (full or half duplex) network, which allows all
cameras in the IC Series to be controlled and communicate. A built in X22
optical zoom with a X10 digital zoom gives the SCC-641N an enhanced total zoom
capability of 220X with a focal length of 3.9 to 79.2mm. With the addition of
the GV-LAN101, the SCC-643N can be converted into an IP addressable device and
can be viewed or controlled remotely via intranet or internet. Additional
features include up to eight privacy zones, motion detection, alarming inputs
and outputs on the dome head, auto-flip, guard tour, programmable patterns and
up to 128 presets.
Housing options for the SCC-643N include indoor and outdoor with
pole, corner, wall or recessed ceiling mounts. The wall mount option provides a
low profile, attractive mounting alternative to commercially available housings.

The product described in this
specification shall be a SCC-643N Indoor/Outdoor, Day/Night Smart Dome System.
The dome shall have a 1/4�? imaging device with 480 lines of resolution. The
camera shall have picture in picture capability on zoom, alarming inputs and
outputs on the dome head and a X22 motorized zoom lens with a 10X digital zoom
capability. The camera shall employ Day/Night technology and incorporate up to
eight privacy zones for screening sensitive parts of the viewing area. The dome
shall have motion detection capability with alarming presets, tours and home
functions. The lens assembly will be equipped to auto-flip and shall have an
enhanced focal length of 3.6 to 79.2mm. The dome viewing area shall be
constructed of vandal resistant Lexan and be capable of withstanding Type S,
Tensile Impact of 275 ft-lbs and falling dart impact of 125 ft-lbs. The dome
camera shall be completely compatible with the IC (Intelligent Camera) series
manufactured by Samsung Electronics.
