The break-out cable is used with Samsung security systems such as the SSC-14WEB, SMM15FDQ, SMO-151QN, SSC17WEB, SSC-17TQ, SSC21DQ, SMM21FDQ, SMO-210DN and the SSC-21WEB, this cable would not work with any other system. This cable can be used in conjunction with a time lapse VCR, a regular VCR (BNC-RCA adapter required), a video distribution box, or a DVR. Please note that the labels on the individual cables are in relation to the monitor and not to the recorder (Video Out means out of the monitor and IN to the VCR).
