Power items

CCTV Cametas can be powered in a variety of ways. Most professional CCTV installs use a central power station called Power Distribution box which is then ran to each individual camera or alarm station with the adequate power.

Power can also be brough to cameras and stations via POE (power over Ethernet) or even by using indvidual power adapters.

You must be careful and only use the manufacturer recommended voltage to each component. Providing insuficient voltage to a devide risks diminished performance and damage. Over-voltage may result in equipment damage and even property fire. Consult with an electrician or the manufacturer of the item you are trying to install.
