RETURN POLICY

LIMITED WARRANTY AND RETURN MERCHANDISE AUTHORIZATION

By placing an order with Covisec, you agree to be bound by our terms and conditions, as well as to acknowledge our LIMITED WARRANTY and return policy statements below:.

Limited Warranty Terms. COVISEC’s Limited Warranty is extended only to the original purchaser.

The Limited Warranty covers defects in materials or workmanship by the manufacturer and does not cover damages resulting from normal usage, wear and tear, or the user’s negligence. Water damaged and burned circuit (due to using wrong power voltage) will not be covered by our Limited Warranty. Furthermore, we shall be held harmless for incidental damages, loss of usage or missed opportunity related to the use of our equipment.

Our warranty is limited to the scope of coverage provided by the manufacturer of each item we sell. Items without a specific warranty coverage claim will be covered for 1 year from date of purchase. COVISEC provides 3-year Limited Warranty on Prime® brand products. COVISEC provides 3-year Limited Warranty on Eyemax® brand products.

COVISEC provides 1-year Limited Warranty on LCD’s and monitors, which are limited to repairs only.

Accessories are not covered under Limited Warranty. They are sold “as is”. Accessories cannot be exchanged or returned. We do not accept any Return or Exchange on following Items: All Clearance Items.

All exchanges must be received by COVISEC CCTV within 30 days of the purchase invoice date. COVISEC CCTV will not provide a refund – only store credit is allowed.

Shipping and Handling charges are non-refundable. COVISEC CCTV will charge a 30.0% restocking fee for all returned items.

COVISEC CCTV may reject your HDD (Hard Disk Drive) RMA request if there appears to be physical damages on the HDD, regardless of its functionality.

Requests for product repair or replacement will be processed in approximately 3 to 4 weeks upon COVISEC CCTV’s receipt of the product.

We do not provide advanced replacements. Return freight charges are prepaid by customer.

Exchange or return will not be accepted unless pre-authorized by our RMA department. Request for Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number must be made with-in 15 business days from receipt of order and received in our facility within 30 days from the date of purchase.

COVISEC CCTV will only provide an exchange for a product that (1) is in its original condition, (2) contains all accompanying parts, and (3) is unopened in its original/undamaged packaging.

Returning merchandise must be sent back in its original factory condition and packaging. We cannot accept items that are not in original factory condition. The return item must have the original hairnet, labels and tags still attached and undamaged. Items altered in any way will not be accepted. Do not mark, tape or attach anything which may cause damage to the original packaging box. Damaged packaging box will not be accepted for return.

The repaired or replaced product will be returned to the purchaser by COVISEC CCTV within US only (Except AK, HI) by UPS ground only with no exceptions. Please ensure that the return address is deliverable by UPS (P.O. Box return addresses will not be accepted).

 

Return Merchandise Authorization (“RMA”)

In the event that you wish to exchange or return your purchase, please thoroughly read the following. You must adhere to the policy below, or your request for exchange or return will be denied. In order to have your merchandise repaired or replaced under Limited Warranty, you must email support@covisec.com with “RMA REQUEST” in the subject line.

Include item model number, date of purchase and reason for RMA request in the body of the email. Do not send the product until you receive the RMA number from Covisec.

If sending equipment with data, footage or information in its memory, be sure to backup everything before sending the device. We are not responsible, nor liable for any data loss or damage during diagnose or re-installing the software. We will not backup the data you send us.

In order to have your merchandise repaired or replaced under Limited Warranty, the original purchaser must;

  • present a sales receipt or other proof of purchase,
  • indicate the purchaser’s company name, shipping address, telephone number, and RMA number,
  • deliver the product prepaid to the address specified in the RMA.
